Kathy and I leave for Venice, Italy to meet some friends and mount BMW 1200GS's to ride to Istanbul, Turkey.

July 30 ...
Richard flies to San Diego to pick up his new HP2 Super Motard. Whereupon he will ride the bike to meet some friends who will be somewhere on the Continental Divide Trail. They are riding the trail from North to South. Whenupon (is that a word?) he will finish the ride with them until they get to the Mexican border, and then continue onward to Dallas, Texas and home.

Mountain Recon
Richard will ride a Mountain Recon with some others into the mountains of Mexico near Saltillo. They intend to leave from the Texas border and head toward Montery.

Score International Off Road Racing
Actual race is on Nov 13th. This promises to be outstanding as new motorcycle teams are contesting the race. I am definitely goin' to see this one - how 'bout you?

Texas Adventure Ride...

is a 3 day dual-sport adventure ride & rally occurring annually the last weekend of April in Junction, Texas. All adventure / dual-sport riders are invited to attend.

 

During the event you can explore the best paved and unpaved in the Texas Hill Country and west Texas. You can ride the best dual-sport road outside of Big Bend Texas, and cross the largest and scariest river in that neck of the woods. Pay a visit to Judge Roy Beans Jersey Lilly Saloon, or tour John Wayne's Alamo. You can be one of the few who know where Pandale, Texas is, but to also ride through it.

BMW LT ride to Midway, Utah for a weeks riding in the Utah mountains with other LT riders.
