 Garmin GPS

Don't try to get by without GPS ... this is the Garmin 276c, the one that took me to the southern tip of South America, and back. I will load Europe cities when Kathy and I ride to Istanbul Turkey.

Retails at $643 but is affordable at $550 new on one of the online product stores like GPS City. Load the right software and it becomes a tool for lake or ocean fishing.

GPS Routes

Continental Divide Trail:

A pure Dual Sport ride with every road and off-road surface imaginable. Choose to ride from north to south or south to north - either way you're in for the ride of your life. Begins at the end of highway 80 southward out of Silver Spring, New Mexico at Antelope Wells on the Mexico border.

Northern route southward begins at Rooseville, Montana on the Canadian border.

Dallas to Jefferson For Lunch:

Not great for a two-martini lunch, but wonderful for the rider on a weekday to get away from the grind.

Follows back roads to one of the most picturesque east Texas towns.
