1995 TRIUMPH Trophy 900

Shortly after reconstruction. This little beauty is one of my favorites. Perhaps you should read the tale of how it came to be, and the misery and bliss of rebuilding a sad box of parts.

It will not run ...

So I messed around with it thinking it had bad gas or worse. Continued to check out other little things, but no solutions.

Remembered that the one item I hadn't rebuilt in the rehab of the bike was the carburetors. Decided to take the bike to the best shop in Dallas. Keith at RPM took the bike with the understanding that I wanted it running. Long story short ... I got the bike back three months later ... and it still didn't run. Keith had rebuilt the carbs and replaced over four hundred dollars in parts (which he didn't charge me for) ... and it still didn't run.

Somewhere along here I should have reminded you that I am a helluva mechanic. But I couldn't make it run either. When I picked it up from Kieth I was informed number one cylinder wouldn't run. I knew that.

Now the trumpet sits in my shop ... more to come.
